Job Summary:
Mission Australia is seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing case management support to young people in contact with the criminal justice system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one case work support to young people for 12 weeks, with the option to extend in some cases.
- Assist and encourage clients to develop skills necessary to achieve their Youth Justice Case Plan goals.
- Provide assertive outreach and intensive work in community settings.
- Liaise with the Department of Youth Justice to provide casework support to participants.
- Submit weekly reports detailing client contact hours.
- Maintain client folders and documents.
- Contribute to the effective functioning and development of the service.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people with challenging behaviors.
- Senior First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
- Knowledge of case management and issues surrounding homelessness.
- Current driver's license.
