Are you a motivated and ambitious professional looking to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a TPD/Super Claims Specialist to join our team at AFL Recruitment.

As a key member of our Total Permanent Disablement/Superannuation/Insurance Claims division, you will be responsible for assisting with the running of high-end complex cases and managing some of your own less complex files. You will have the opportunity to work with a top senior TPD/Super/Insurance Lawyer and gain hands-on experience in:

  • Obtaining client instructions, reviewing medical evidence and trust deed/insurance policies
  • Providing technical legal advice in respect of the viability of the claim
  • Liaising with the super fund, insurers/their solicitors and doctors
  • Briefing counsel and attending court/settlement conferences

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months' experience in TPD/super and possess solid knowledge of procedures/practices involved in the 'life cycle' of a TPD claim from start to finish. They will be proactive, have a keen interest in TPD/super, and have outstanding communication, time management, and people skills.
