Personal Injury Claims Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to join our team as a claims specialist in the area of total permanent disablement (TPD) and superannuation claims. In this key role, you will assist with helping seriously injured clients obtain justice in respect of their TPD/income protection/trauma insurance claims via their superannuation fund and other insurance policies.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Obtaining client instructions, reviewing medical evidence, trust deed/insurance policies, legal research, and providing technical legal advice in respect of the viability of the claim.
  • Liaising with the super fund, insurers, their solicitors, and doctors, briefing counsel, and attending court/settlement conferences.

About You

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

  • Are a paralegal/law graduate with plaintiff personal injury legal experience or a junior solicitor with plaintiff personal injury legal experience.
  • Have had minimum 6 months TPD/super/disability insurance experience.
  • Have strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are highly organized and can meet deadlines.
  • Can work in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.
