TPD/Super Claims Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TPD/Super Claims Specialist to join our team at AFL Recruitment. As a key member of our Total Permanent Disablement/Superannuation/Insurance Claims division, you will be responsible for assisting with the running of high-end complex stimulating and interesting cases and managing some of your own less complex files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining client instructions, reviewing medical evidence and trust deed/insurance policies, legal research, providing technical legal advice in respect of the viability of the claim, liaising with the super fund, insurers/their solicitors and doctors, briefing counsel and attending court/settlement conferences.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in TPD/super claims.
  • Solid knowledge of procedures and practices involved in the 'life cycle' of a TPD claim from start to finish.
  • Proven ability to work in a busy fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and keen interest in TPD/super.
  • Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills.
