Job Summary: Our Retail team in Eastern Creek is seeking a highly skilled Transport Coordinator to allocate, route plan and dispatch metro deliveries for one of Australia's largest supermarket chains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions while fostering positive relationships.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure regular communication with customers, keeping them well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or any changes that may impact them.
  • Commit to Safety Standards and COR requirements, including daily compliance tasks such as yard inspections, speed and fatigue audits and load restraint checks.

Requirements:

  • Experience in transport load planning, driver or fleet allocation is highly regarded. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills - experience with TMS is highly regarded.
  • Strong geographical knowledge of Sydney metro.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, remaining organized and efficient.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
