Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and diligent Tech Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will play a crucial role in the repair and maintenance of cutting-edge electronics and thermal camera equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To perform all repairs to the highest standard possible, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
  • To prioritize and complete urgent repairs as directed by our Customer Service manager.
  • To promptly notify our management team of any product defects or anomalies.
  • To maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products to provide effective troubleshooting and repair services.
  • To conduct off-site repairs with efficiency, integrity, and professionalism.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Intermediate PC literacy and experience in electrical and electronic systems.
  • Diagnostics expertise and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in marine electronics and thermal camera equipment maintenance/servicing.
  • Understanding of Ethernet, NMEA 2000/NMEA 0183 protocols.
  • Trade or tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • A valid driving license and proficiency in a second language would be advantageous.
