Senior Tech Sourcer

This is your opportunity to dig deep into talent markets across software, data, ML, and engineering, building targeted, high-quality pipelines that enable world-class delivery for our clients. You won't just push profiles into a system, you'll be part of a delivery engine that thrives on insight, quality, and commercial impact. Whether you're embedded or working alongside our client accounts, you'll have the space to strategically source, research markets, and help shape hiring strategies at scale.

But this isn't your typical sourcing gig.

You'll be hired into Preacta, working in either embedded or action-style delivery depending on the account. This means less red tape, faster execution, and a sharp focus on what you do best: finding the right talent, the smart way.

What you'll do:

• Leverage advanced sourcing strategies and talent intelligence to uncover, engage, and attract high-quality tech talent
• Build diverse, targeted outbound pipelines across software, data, ML, DevOps, and engineering roles
• Go beyond LinkedIn, tap into platforms like GitHub, Stack Overflow, Dev.to, Reddit, Kaggle, Medium, and X (Twitter) to connect with niche tech communities
• Engage talent through Slack groups, Discord servers, online forums, and virtual tech events, you know where the conversations are happening and how to join them
• Partner with our Talent Intelligence and Talent Partner teams to map markets and co-design creative sourcing strategies
• Lead with curiosity constantly experiment with new tools like HireEZ, AmazingHiring and others.
• Drive top-of-funnel engagement, deliver strong shortlists, and manage candidate communication with pace and care
• Collaborate with teammates and client stakeholders to refine briefs, calibrate profiles, and ensure alignment
• Help elevate employer brand through outreach messaging, talent campaigns, and online engagement strategies
• Be part of a curious, collaborative and high-performance team that's redefining what great sourcing looks like

What you'll need:

• Australian Citizenship or PR
• 3–5+ years of experience in sourcing or recruitment, ideally in agency, RPO, or internal TA
• Proven ability to source tech roles, software, data, engineering, cloud, or analytics
• Strong Boolean and outbound sourcing skills (you know your way around the search bar)
• Natural curiosity and a love for building and refining talent pipelines
• Excellent attention to detail and research skills
• Collaborative mindset, you know how to work with recruiters, hiring managers, and clients
• A strategic approach to sourcing, not just reactive searches
