About Soil Carbon Agribusiness Development
Select Carbon has over a decade of experience in working with landholders to develop and manage carbon farming projects. We provide options for land managers to integrate carbon projects into their business using a science-based approach.
We support activities that increase carbon stored in vegetation or soil, empowering people and strengthening land-based businesses. Our team's expertise includes agronomy, soil microbiology, precision agriculture, spatial analysis, remote sensing, and soil sampling and analysis.
This role is a leadership position within our team, contributing to project delivery and compliance. We aim to build trust with customers and other stakeholders, including regulatory and industry bodies.
- Develop and implement strategies for managing carbon stocks;
- Collaborate with growers and advisors to screen and report on carbon projects;
- Analyze data and track the implementation of Eligible Management Activities;
- Measure and monitor soil carbon stocks using the Soil Carbon Method;
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, combined with knowledge of carbon management practices and agricultural systems.
