The Senior Structural/Civil Engineer plays a key role in delivering high-quality technical design and effective communication of our consulting services.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise a team of Structural/Civil Engineers to execute and communicate design and other consultation services efficiently
- Mentor professionals and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
- Develop and implement processes, policies, and procedures to enhance existing practices and/or introduce new approaches
- Provide exceptional interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, to interact with various stakeholders effectively
- Demonstrated eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body within the Structural and Civil areas of practice in the Occupational Category of Professional Engineer grade Member
- Registration on the National Engineers Register and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role, with significant expertise in structural and civil engineering
- Strong leadership abilities and capacity to support and mentor employees to achieve tasks efficiently and effectively
- Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage work effectively, determine priorities, and meet deadlines
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
