Senior Structural/Civil Engineer Position

The Senior Structural/Civil Engineer plays a pivotal role in conducting technical design and communicating the company's consulting functions to stakeholders.

This position also supervises other Structural/Civil Engineers in the execution and communication of design and other consultation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor a professional team
  • Conduct technical design and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Develop and implement processes, policies and procedures
  • Provide excellent client service and formulate suitable outcomes
  • Make decisions and work autonomously
  • Lead and support employees to carry out tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Manage work, determine priorities and meet deadlines

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated eligibility for registration with relevant authorities within the Occupational Category of Professional Engineer grade Member
  • Registration on the National Engineers Register
  • Compliance with relevant regulations and legislation
  • Minimum of three years in a similar role, with significant experience in structural and civil engineering

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Ability to study, analyse and interpret complex activities and/or information
  • Intermediate level of competency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
