Weekend Court Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Weekend Online Remand Court Registrar. As the key contact for weekend court operations, you will be responsible for managing listings, allocating cases, and supervising the day-to-day caseload of the Children's Court Weekend Online Remand Court.
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the court registry, under limited direction. You will also assist in the development, evaluation, and implementation of policies, practices, and procedures that enhance our court operations.
- Manage listings, allocate cases, and supervise the day-to-day caseload of the Children's Court Weekend Online Remand Court
- Ensure the performance of all legal, administrative, and quasi-judicial functions relating to the day-to-day operations of the court registry, under limited direction
- Assist in the development, evaluation, and implementation of policies, practices, and procedures that enhance our court operations
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A commitment to working weekends (earning appropriate shift allowances and entitlements) while enjoying the flexibility of having Thursday and Fridays off work
- High level of self-motivation and ability to achieve goals despite barriers or difficult circumstances
- Positive and constructive approach when dealing with situations, peers, and stakeholders
- Proven ability to build and maintain constructive relationships, working well with others and encouraging others to be motivated for optimum service delivery
