A Data Processor Role in Cardiac Registries

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Cardiac Registries team as a Data Processor. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and maintaining accurate data, ensuring that our records are up-to-date and reliable.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have excellent data entry skills, with experience in clinical data entry, data cleaning, and manipulation. You will also have a strong understanding of data quality control processes and be able to identify areas for improvement.

You will work closely with our team to develop close working relationships and provide input into design processes to improve the efficiency of the registries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check electronic patient care records, dispatch data, hospital data, and patient follow-up data for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records on data entry and quality control status
  • Develop close working relationships with team members and relevant business units
About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • A clinical tertiary qualification such as Nursing, Health Science, Public Health, or Health Information (desirable)
  • Experience in the health, emergency services, or university research sector (advantageous)
  • Proven experience with clinical data entry, data cleaning, and manipulation
  • A high level of data entry and keyboard skills
  • Interest in cardiac practice or research (desirable)
  • Ability to operate in an environment requiring teamwork
  • Familiarity with privacy and confidentiality principles
  • A current Victorian Driver Licence
  • The right to live and work in Australia
