Job Role: Paediatric Cardiac Physiologist - Expert in Echocardiography

We are seeking an experienced individual to fill this role as a Cardiac Physiologist specialising in paediatrics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive paediatric cardiac ultrasound examinations, delivering high-quality results.
  • Prepare and provide accurate preliminary reports following each examination.
  • Assist in conducting 3D cardiac ultrasounds, transoesophageal echocardiography, contrast studies, strain/strain rate imaging.
  • Provide hands-on training to Cardiac Physiologists new to the field of echocardiography, and also to Cardiology Fellows commencing their Fellowship.
  • Contribute to various research projects.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science or Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in a health science discipline.
  • Accredited Medical Sonographer registered with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR), with current enrollment in a certified Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Understanding of the importance of delivering exceptional care to our young patients and their families.
