Job Opportunity

Seeking an experienced clinician to join our interdisciplinary team as a Coordinator, working with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, or Social Workers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality multi-disciplinary assessments and intervention planning for children presenting with diverse and complex developmental issues, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Triage of referrals, synthesizing background information on individual child development, and coordinating implementation of a comprehensive assessment service for children with complex developmental concerns in two or more areas.
  • Ensuring optimal patient care outcomes by processing referrals, formulating assessment plans, and utilizing clinical reasoning skills to make family-centered decisions.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • High-level communication, empathy, and understanding of families' needs, empowering them in decision-making processes.
  • Knowledge of child development and available services promoting child growth in South Australia.

Requirements

Qualified professionals with expertise in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, speech pathology, or social work are encouraged to apply. A strong understanding of child development principles and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team is essential.
