
Rural Palliative Care Nursing Opportunity

This palliative care nursing opportunity is an exciting chance to make a positive impact on the health outcomes of our rural communities. As part of our Specialist Community Palliative Care Team, you will be working alongside multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient-centred care for individuals with advanced life-limiting illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, shared, and consultative care across various settings.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team and independently when necessary.
- Prioritize and manage workload effectively.
- Exercise leadership qualities to drive positive change.
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Recent clinical experience relevant to the role.
- Demonstrated understanding and practical application of palliative care pain and symptom management.
- Able to practice in accordance with Registered Nurse Standards of Practice and Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses.
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenges associated with rural and remote community nursing.
