We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our golf course operations, including the golf shop, café, and events. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in operations management, hospitality, golf, or leisure facility management.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for supervising, training, and supporting frontline staff to ensure excellent customer service standards. They will also oversee stock management, cash handling, online shop, and reporting. Additionally, they will coordinate events, corporate days, social bookings, and activations, while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements.
- Responsibilities include:
- Managing daily golf course operations
- Supervising and training staff
- Overseeing stock and cash management
- Coordinating events and activities
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and people management skills, excellent communication and customer service abilities, and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Knowledge of golf operations is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will hold current RSA, WWCC, and First Aid & CPR qualifications.
