Site Coordinator – Telecommunications Infrastructure

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Coordinator to join our growing N2P project team, based in Cambridge, TAS. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and leading a team of multi-disciplined trade-based personnel, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of project-based construction activities.

The ideal candidate will have a background in telecommunications, proven coordination skills, and the ability to manage subcontractors while working alongside a great team of people in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare site works – including walk-outs, scoping and scheduling to make sure construction activities are well-organised and run smoothly.
  • Lead and support teams on-site – working closely with subcontractors and colleagues to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate and communicate – providing clear guidance, escalating issues when needed, and keeping clients and supervisors informed.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and resources – overseeing HSE practices, checking work standards, and making sure materials and equipment are available when needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant trade qualification with experience in a supervisory or coordination role.
  • Telecommunications (Telstra/NBN) knowledge (advantageous).
  • Ability to read and interpret Telstra and NBN plans (advantageous).
  • Civil construction background (e.g., directional drilling, ploughing, open trenching).
  • Understanding residential and business cabling requirements.
  • Willingness to travel across the state.
