Job Description: Process Engineer

At Easy Skill, we are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of wastewater management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement wastewater process research and technology development for operational and capital improvement projects.
  • Conduct analyses of conveyance and influent pump station flow reports to characterize conveyance system performance under normal and emergency conditions.
  • Manage the development of complex engineering projects, including project scheduling, budgeting, and scoping.
  • Troubleshoot and review wastewater treatment processes and facility designs, evaluating and initiating process technologies.
  • Conduct technical wastewater process research, collaborating with peer technologists to exchange knowledge.
  • Oversee the selection and management of engineering consultant contractors, coordinating work with project stakeholders and government agencies.
  • Analyze new or proposed legislation or regulations to determine their impact on program operations or ability to achieve permit compliance.

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of wastewater engineering process, design theory, principles, and practices.
  • Working knowledge of principles and practices of public administration, legislative processes, and local government operation.
  • Ability to evaluate complex wastewater process engineering, model wastewater treatment processes, and design and conduct laboratory and pilot scale tests.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present complex and technical information effectively to various audiences.

Working Conditions:

The role involves occasional duties in the field, requiring walking, twisting, and balancing, and may involve exposure to inclement weather, noise, and slippery and/or uneven terrain.
