About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Learning Experience Designer - Retail to join our Capability team at Bank of Queensland (BOQ) Group. This is an exciting opportunity to design and deliver impactful learning experiences that drive business performance, customer experience, and operational excellence across our Retail Brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop onboarding programs, upskill initiatives, performance support tools, and role transition programs that align with the Retail Capability Framework
  • Lead a small team of capability specialists, guiding and mentoring them to ensure effective implementation of learning experiences
  • Create detailed content briefs and storyboards for various capabilities, working closely with the Learning Design team to develop learning content
  • Consult with subject matter experts across the bank to address small to medium change requests, determining the most appropriate learning interventions

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong information and communication design skills that facilitate effective knowledge transfer and understanding
  • Experience in learning and development, enabling you to create impactful training programs and resources
  • Intermediate instructional design skills, including video production, e-learning, assessment creation, and classroom facilitation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and systems thinking capabilities, allowing you to distinguish training needs from other requirements

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, dependent on experience. We offer a competitive salary package, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
