Job Title: Carer Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Carer Lead to join our team. As a Carer Lead, you will be responsible for leading our team of carers and supporting our direct care staff to deliver high-quality care and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular audits and ensure best practices are consistently followed.
  • Ensure proper use of technology systems and identify training needs.
  • Oversee performance reviews, manage feedback, and ensure staff meet expectations.
  • Assess staffing needs and participate in recruitment processes.
  • Foster high levels of engagement and low turnover among care staff.
  • Oversee administrative and compliance requirements for carers.
Requirements:
  • Experience in community care or home-based services.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide effective feedback.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and empathetic approach to service delivery.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Understanding of WH&S risks and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Relevant industry training (Cert III in Aged Care/HACC/Disability/Individual Support) is desirable.
  • Current driver's license and car registration with comprehensive insurance.
