Job Title: Key Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Operations Manager to join our dynamic team.

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating field staff, ensuring maximum efficiencies, and driving high performance outcomes.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, clients, and field staff. You will have a proven track record of effective management of personnel and resources, as well as experience in business management, cost control, and budgeting.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and overseeing field staff by establishing tasks and accountabilities, work schedules, supervising, monitoring, and evaluating performance.
  • Assisting with contracts, tenders, and quotes.
  • Establishing a detailed understanding of contractual works and requirements with clients and contracts coordinator to achieve contract deliverables.
  • Coordinating resources to ensure maximum efficiencies are achieved.
  • Supporting fleet coordinator in ensuring field staff take care of and adequately maintain plant and equipment.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Horticulture or Turf Management or equivalent.
  • Experience in coordinating field staff including technical experience, allocation of labour, plant and materials with a proven record of effective management of personnel and resources.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role leading and motivating employees to achieve results in a positive, accountable, team-based environment.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Horticulture and Open Space Turf Management sector.
