About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Technology Strategist to join our team. As the Head of Enterprise Architecture, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction on technology architecture and establishing frameworks for the creation, maintenance, and management of IT architecture.

You will orchestrate and leverage the architecture capability and staff to achieve these outcomes. Additionally, you will have responsibility for developing and maturing an Architecture Centre of Excellence as a mechanism for collaboration, education, and planning across all regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align business strategy to IT investment and execution through insightful analysis of the portfolio of IT-enabled projects and comparison to known business strategies.
  • Provide architecture assurance to initiatives being executed.
  • Inform and influence technology roadmaps for products and services offered.
  • Manage, use, and maintain technology architecture models.
  • Recommend and participate in activities related to design, development, and maintenance of architecture.
  • Implement strategy for development of technology architecture work.
  • Advise and recommend architecture strategies, processes, and methodologies.
  • Recommend and participate in analysis, evaluation, and development of long-term strategic and operating plans to ensure architecture objectives are consistent with division's long-term business objectives.
  • Share best practices, lessons learned, and update architecture requirements based on changing technologies and knowledge related to recent, current, and upcoming vendor products and solutions.
  • Participate in and manage Architecture Working Groups for development and maintenance of architecture.
  • Collaborate with relevant parties to review objectives and constraints of each solution and determine conformance with architecture guidelines and recommendations.
  • Recommend most suitable technical architecture and define solution at high level.
  • Direct technology architecture activities.
  • Recommend and participate in development of architecture blueprints for related systems.
  • Participate in design and implementation of technology standards, tools, and methodologies.
  • Control management of technology architectures.
  • Identify and recommend areas appropriate for further study and participate in any Proof-of-Concept projects required to thoroughly investigate architectural possibilities and strengthen arguments for adoption.
  • Identify implementation risks and analyze potential impact on division and on achievement of scheduled objectives.
  • Recommend and participate in design and implementation of standards, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant IT qualification.
  • 4 years in senior architecture role.
  • Travel industry knowledge (desirable).
