About the Position

UGL Limited's Manufacturing & Maintenance business has an opportunity for experienced purchasing professionals to join the team. The roles will be offered on a permanent full-time basis and based at our facility in NSW.

The role is responsible for procuring production/project material requirements as per schedule or purchasing requisition instructions, sourcing and coordinating suitable suppliers to meet quality, availability, cost, warranties and suitability expectations.

Monitoring of supply and ensuring suppliers conform to commercial and contractual requirements of all orders placed.

Requirements

A tertiary qualification in supply chain/logistics management or commercial management or engineering-related discipline is desirable. Previous experience within a similar role working in heavy maintenance, manufacturing, mining or defence business is advantageous. Intermediate to advanced SAP & Excel operational experience. Exposure to manufacturing/engineering environment and experience reading technical drawings to ascertain component/material specifications. Experience in contract negotiation and administration would be highly advantageous.
