About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Data & Analytics technology team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, designing, building, and operating our data & integration platforms, ensuring they are scalable and meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and Develop the Team

Lead and develop a high-performing DataOps & Integration engineering team, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration and performance.

Ensure Team Clarity

Ensure the team has clarity around priorities and goals, and that they are working towards a common objective.

Collaborate with Stakeholders

Collaborate with stakeholders to help shape the scope of new initiatives and ensure that they align with the company's strategic goals.

Contribute to Solution Architecture

Contribute to solution architecture and technology decisions for data/integration initiatives, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's overall strategy.

Manage Delivery

Manage the delivery of minor enhancements and deliverables within the team, ensuring that they are completed on time and to a high standard.

Establish Engineering Standards

Develop and establish engineering standards in collaboration with the Platform manager and Engineering leads, ensuring that they are followed by the team.

Identify Operational Improvements

Identify and implement operational improvements on the platforms, ensuring that they are efficient and effective.

Investigate Opportunities for Optimization

Continuously investigate opportunities to optimize and modernize the data & integration platform architecture to enable and support strategic programs across Scentre Group.

Manage Vendor Relationships

Manage vendor relationships to deliver features and uplift platform capability, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Manage Spend

Manage spend on Cloud consumption and licensing on platforms to stay within budget, ensuring that the company's financial resources are used efficiently.
