We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our KinCare team in Moolooaba. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide domestic assistance, help with meal preparation and shopping, provide social support and access to lifestyle activities, and assist with respite and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing domestic assistance to older members of our community, ensuring they have a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping to help our customers maintain their independence.
  • Providing social support and access to lifestyle activities to help our customers stay engaged and active.
  • Offering respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Assisting with social support and transportation to appointments.
  • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia.

What We Look For:

  • You must care about assisting our aged community to live independently at home for longer.
  • You will need a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is part of the role.
  • You should be able to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help.
  • You will need to be available to work at least 3 days a week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
