Store Leadership Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to take on the Store Manager position within our retail network.

This key leadership role is responsible for driving store success through strategic planning, strong service delivery, and effective team management. As a Store Manager, you will play a vital part in shaping the customer experience and promoting sales growth.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve targeted sales and profit objectives.
  • Manage store operations, including budgeting, inventory control, and staff supervision.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Maintain high store standards, including visual displays, campaigns, and merchandising.
  • Focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and enabling product knowledge among staff.
  • Recruit, train, and coach new team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Roster and manage your team through regular feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and learning throughout the store team.
  • Manage inventory levels effectively to meet consumer demand and seasonal fluctuations.
About You
  • Previous retail management experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a trusting team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop internal and external relationships.
  • Confidence and organizational skills to delegate tasks and roles effectively.
  • Experience in servicing both trade and retail customers, with a focus on growing a business.
  • Financial acumen, with the ability to understand financial reports, inventory management, rostering, and expense control.
  • Requirement for a driver's license and the capacity to perform manual tasks, such as lifting heavy objects.
  • Ability to handle conflict and work under pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Capacity to build a strong team, utilizing strengths and providing leadership where development is required.
  • Prior experience in the paint or surface coating industry would be advantageous.
