Lifestyle Support Specialist

Our team offers a dynamic and caring environment where staff go above and beyond to support our residents.

About the Role:

  • Encourage resident autonomy and participation in individual and group activities.
  • Contribute to the design, delivery and monitoring of group and individual lifestyle services and activities.
  • Implement engaging events and lifestyle activities for residents and foster connections with the wider community, volunteers and residents' family and friends.
  • Provide direct resident care during activities such as bus trips, including assistance with personal hygiene and toileting.
  • Support residents with daily living tasks, meal service, mobility and social interaction.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain a positive team culture.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, following all policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A compassionate attitude and genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to seniors.
  • Effective communication skills and a positive outlook.
  • Certificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Individual Support or similar qualification.
  • Maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
  • A reliable team player.
  • Demonstrate respect for residents' values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs.
  • Apply for necessary clearances.
