Our Mission is to promote the dignity, life and spirituality of older people through connected and inclusive communities.As a member of the teamyou will be providing essential lifestyle, social and wellbeing services for our residents.About the Role:Encouraging resident choice and participation in individual and group activitiesAssisting in the design, delivery and monitoring of group and individual lifestyle services and activitiesImplementing innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents and where possible involving the wider community, volunteers and residents family and friendsProvide direct resident care during activities such as bus trips, including assisting with personal hygiene and toiletingProvide direct resident care in relation to meals service, mobility and social supportSupporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spiritWorking in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and proceduresTo be successful in this role you'll needA kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderlyStrong communication skills and a positive attitudeCertificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Individual Support or similarAble to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their familiesA reliable team playerCommitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residentsWillingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearanceWhat we can offer youCompetitive hourly pay rateFitness Passport gym benefitPaid parental leaveLong service leave after 5 yearsAdditional week of leave for Enterprise Agreement shift workers40+Locations across NSW and QLD if you decide to moveA values based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgroundsWe know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.Apply online now
