
Victim Support Specialist

As a Victim Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing support to vulnerable individuals during the reporting and investigation process. Your expertise will enable victims to share their concerns and receive necessary assistance.
This position has been created to address the growing need for specialized support services within our organization. You will work closely with investigators to deliver tailored advice and guidance, ensuring that victims receive the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to victims
- Conduct needs assessments to identify potential psychosocial or health risks
- Deliver short-term therapeutic interventions to mitigate trauma impacts
- Empower victims to make informed decisions and prioritize their safety and well-being
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in victim support or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
