This is a new and exciting opportunity to work for a leading global insurance company in the UK.
The job is looking for either a Motor Trade or P&C Trading Mid-Market Underwriter who are looking to progress their career forward.
Depending on your preference, this could be writing new business or existing business or both.
You will also be expected to embrace and understand strategy to be an active mobile underwriter.
As a mobile underwriter, you will have opportunities to work face-to-face with brokers and customers.
There will also be opportunities to work towards underwriting license levels as appropriate to your job grade.
Key Responsibilities:- Underwrite new and existing business in the motor trade and property casualty sectors
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and customers
- Analyse and assess risks to provide accurate quotes and proposals
- Experience of motor trade or property and casualty underwriting is essential
- Excellent communication, listening, time management, and negotiating skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a large complex organisation
- Competitive salary up to £65K
- Bonus opportunity - circa 10% of annual salary
- Generous pension scheme with company contribution up to 14%
- 29 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Up to £1,200 free share annually
