Virtual Health Clinician Job Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with health concerns.

  • Assess and provide guidance on healthcare matters.
  • Conduct thorough telephone assessments to identify the best course of action.
  • Recommend appropriate care settings, whether in-person or virtually.
  • Refer callers to relevant services such as urgent care clinics and virtual emergency departments.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who can deliver exceptional virtual care. The ideal candidate will have a diverse nursing background involving significant public interaction and strong communication skills.

Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse for at least 3 years.
  • A minimum of 3 years of full-time (or equivalent) clinical experience within the last 5 years as a Registered Nurse.
  • A varied nursing background involving substantial public contact, including complex primary health, acute medical, or emergency department settings.
  • Demonstrated confidence in applying critical thinking and clinical judgment in high-pressure situations across all age groups and clinical presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a compassionate and professional approach.
  • Familiarity with computer systems, telehealth platforms, databases, and digital communication tools.
  • Able to work effectively in a flexible, home-based environment.
  • Must be located within Australia.
