About the Role

The Freight and Logistics Officer will be a key member of our Supply Chain group, working closely with the Inventory and Logistics team to manage international and domestic freight. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage international and domestic freight, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
  • Assist the Inventory and Logistics team with operational day-to-day tasks and activities, including packaging, handling, storage, and inventory management
  • Develop and maintain inventory and logistics management processes and tools
  • Coordinate the processing of goods-in, including receipt inspection and dispatch
  • Ensure compliance with Export/Import Control requirements and Security Classified requirements
  • Assist with the development of work instructions, training, and WHS&E control
  • Support technical teams with the packaging, handling, storage, and transport of equipment
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 5+ years' experience in transport and logistics
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment as part of a team
  • Be an Australian citizen and able to attain NV1 clearance
  • Evidence of adherence to Safe Work Practices
  • Experience in a certified ISO 9001 organisation
