About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic leader to oversee and direct all aspects of departmental operations, making business decisions for the department. You'll be responsible for managing the execution of all operations in the rooms division, including front office, housekeeping, and reservations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sales, profit, guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, operations, and stock management
  • Monitor performance against budget and make adjustments as needed
  • Provide motivation and support to the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality and standards of the hotel and guest expectations are met
  • Review reports and financial statements to determine Rooms operations performance against budget
  • Handle complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts by negotiating with relevant parties
  • Manage staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met
  • Be an expert on the hotel and the surrounding area, reinforcing our commitment to wellness inside our walls and beyond
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests, creating intimate and distinctive experiences to enable future bookings
Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience with OPERA property management system or similar
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a similar managerial role
  • Enthusiasm to escalate your career
  • Self-motivation, drive, and energy in a fast-paced environment
  • Smart solutions and a can-do attitude
