We are seeking an experienced Underground Operator to join our team as a Trainer, reporting to the National Training Manager. This exciting role offers a variety of sites and rosters, including FIFO from Perth.

In this position, you will identify training needs for underground mining operators, develop training plans to address required competencies, and coordinate training for new employees. You will also analyze mobile equipment performance data to optimize operator capability and performance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing training programs to enhance operator skills and address identified gaps
  • Collaborating with site leadership and trainers to ensure effective training delivery and compliance
  • Analyzing performance data to drive improvement in operator capability and safety

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A current and valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • A solid history of reliability and good work ethic
  • Experience in underground service crew or paste crew work
  • A proactive attitude towards safety and hazard identification

Barminco offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, well above general operator rates. Additionally, you can expect:

  • Superannuation paid on all hours worked
