This role plays a vital support function in the delivery of high-quality patient services by assisting and collaborating with the Allied Health team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative backing to the AH team, under the supervision of a treating AH professional.
- Assist with tasks such as preparing patients for treatment, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively as a contributing member of the AH team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or relevant qualification.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare environment.
- Ability to work prioritizing workload delegated by supervising AHPs, meet deadlines, and complete activities within scope of practice.
- Computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.
- Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles.
