Design Lead

As a key member of our design team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our projects. The position requires a skilled and experienced professional who can lead by example, motivate their colleagues, and deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an accomplished designer to take on a senior leadership role. As a Design Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects
  • Developing and implementing design strategies that align with the company's vision and goals
  • Mentoring junior designers and providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and incorporating this knowledge into your work
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong track record of delivering high-quality designs within tight deadlines. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.

  • 10+ years of experience working in the Architecture field
  • A Master's Degree in Architecture
  • Strong Revit skills (Dynamo experience advantageous)
  • Strong Rhino skills (including Grasshopper) highly regarded
  • Solid knowledge of the Adobe suite (InDesign & Photoshop essential)
  • Enscape skills and additional rendering software programs e.g. Vray
  • Demonstrated skills in concept design to design development
  • Technical knowledge of project delivery requirements
  • Local BCA standards and regulation knowledge essential
