Architectural Design Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Architect with a passion for designing innovative buildings to join our Sydney-based team. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who aspire to excel in their career as a Graduate (M.Arch) or Registered Architect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Project Architects in delivering a diverse portfolio of fast-paced projects, from concept design to completion.
  • Bid on design-driven projects, build and maintain Revit models, and support documentation across project stages under senior guidance.
  • Research products, materials, and detail solutions to support the design team's efforts.
  • Collaborate with senior team members during site inspections and construction phases, including answering RFIs and minor contract administration tasks.
  • Coordinate with consultants and contribute to internal project reviews.
  • Support the delivery of feasibility studies, DA, tender, and construction documentation.
  • Ensure design and documentation comply with relevant codes and standards.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and maintain organised/accurate project files.
  • Proactively contribute to studio culture and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
  • Assist in maintaining drawing standards and improving documentation templates.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years' experience designing and delivering multi-residential (Class 2/3) buildings in NSW.
  • Holding a master's degree in architecture.
  • Proficient in Revit (minimum 2 years in a studio environment).
  • Strong documentation skills across all phases (DA to construction).
  • Sound understanding of NCC, local council planning controls, and relevant codes.
  • Knowledge of construction detailing and materials specific to Australian residential design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently while following established design systems.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
  • 3D visualisation and presentation skills preferably include Enscape, Lumion, Photoshop, InDesign, and SketchUp.
