We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Engineer to lead our Teamwork Graph team and drive the development of our knowledge graph. This is a unique opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that enables various Atlassian products to work together more effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data architectures to power applications across Atlassian.
- Develop high-quality APIs and integrate them with various products.
- Collaborate with the Teamwork Platform leadership team to define and execute the vision and strategy for data architecture.
- Mentor and coach team members on best practices, code quality, and design patterns.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external partners, presenting technical concepts and results clearly and concisely.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building and scaling business applications and systems using large amounts of data.
- Proven track record of building generalizable platforms with a keen eye on empowering applications in product.
- Agile development mindset and experience working with LLMs and RAG is a plus.
