Personal Support Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking passionate and experienced support workers to provide personalised services to clients and their families, assisting with daily living activities and community participation in accordance with NDIS plans.

Depending on your eligibility and vehicle availability, you may be considered for driving or non-driving support work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing direct care and support to individuals with disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living activities and community participation
  • Collaborating with clients and their families to achieve positive outcomes
  • Working effectively in a team environment

Please note that a current driver's license, reliable vehicle, car registration, and comprehensive insurance are required for this position.

Requirements
  • Certificate III in Disability, Mental Health, or a similar field of study
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Disability Sector
  • High levels of empathy, engagement, and professionalism
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve positive outcomes for clients
  • Understanding of people with disabilities, particularly Mental Health, and their care requirements
  • Attention to detail and excellent observation skills
  • Flexible attitude with a mature approach to work
