About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance and Test Engineer to join our Engineering team at Pet Circle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high bar of engineering quality, improving our testing infrastructure and automation processes, and driving continuous improvement of the reliability of our key e-commerce operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test strategies and plans to ensure high-quality software releases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Design and implement automated testing solutions using Typescript and API testing frameworks
  • Conduct exploratory testing and user acceptance testing to ensure software meets requirements
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test metrics to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members on testing best practices and methodologies
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a senior software quality assurance capacity
  • Proficiency in Typescript and API testing frameworks
  • Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
