Job Summary

Our hospital is seeking an experienced Geriatric Medicine Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting regular ward rounds, attending multidisciplinary team meetings, and participating in the unit training and education program.

As a Geriatric Medicine Specialist, you will work closely with junior medical staff, providing supervision and mentoring. You will also be required to participate in on-call duties and contribute to the development of clinical research activities.

We are looking for someone with significant experience in Geriatric Medicine, specialist qualifications, and a proven track record of leading clinical research activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular ward rounds and attend multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide supervision and mentoring to junior medical staff
  • Participate in on-call duties
  • Contribute to the development of clinical research activities

Requirements

  • Must hold MBBS or equivalent registration with AHPRA
  • Specialist qualifications (FRACP)
  • Significant experience in Geriatric Medicine
  • Experience in leading clinical research activities and published within recognised professional journals
