Residential Drafter required to produce accurate documentation and support project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in ArchiCAD and experience in residential construction. They will be responsible for completing drafting tasks, coordinating with consultants, and contributing to continuous improvement.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Complete all allocated drafting tasks within agreed deadlines and proactively resolve drafting matters with the manager.
  • Commission reports and technical information with external consultants and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending innovative building methods or materials for cost or quality advantages.
  • Liaise with the team to ensure designs meet compliance, functionality, and aesthetic standards.

Key Requirements:
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced ArchiCAD skills with demonstrated experience in residential drafting.
  • At least 5 years' experience in the residential housing and construction industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing construction documentation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Drafting and/or Design highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines and resolve technical issues.
