Located in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne, my client has a major hand in commercial joinery with a focus on fit-out within the corporate, education, health, beauty and hospitality sectors. An established company with an excellent reputation in the industry, they are dedicated to delivering high-quality joinery projects, through the utilisation of the latest machinery and specialist software.

**Your new role**

My client is seeking an experienced Microvellum drafter from a Shopfitting/Cabinet Making background to complete tasks such as:

- Read and interpret architectural plans
- Create detailed shop drawings via Microvellum for client approval, production and installation
- Ensure that drawings match the allocated budget and pricing
- Provide detailed and accurate breakdowns and listings of bill of materials
- Liaise with site to confirm specifications required and replicate requirements in the software
- Liaise with production teams to ensure that drawings have been completed accurately and to specifications

**What you'll need to succeed**

The below skills are required to ensure you are able to maintain the expectations of the role:

- High level of confidence with Microvellum software, with experience creating drawings
- Experience as a drafter on Shopfitting/Cabinet Making projects
- A trade background in Shopfitting/Cabinet Making is strongly desirable
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced role with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
