About the Role
As a seasoned legal professional, you will have the opportunity to join our team at Tas Networks as a Lead Counsel – Company & Compliance. Reporting to the Executive Governance, you will play a pivotal role in supporting good corporate governance and compliance practice within the Tas Networks Group.

This exciting position offers a unique chance to lead the Company Secretariat team and ensure the proper functioning of Boards across the Tas Networks Group. You will be responsible for providing sound advice to the Board and management on good practice in corporate governance, supporting compliance practice, and ensuring ongoing compliance obligations are met.

About You
We are seeking an experienced candidate with a practicing certificate (or eligibility to obtain a practicing certificate) and at least 5 years' experience of PQE. Leadership experience, company secretary experience, and AICD/Governance Institute qualification are highly desirable.

You will bring expertise in company and compliance law, managing stakeholders at all levels, adapting to changing internal and external environments, independently advising on legal and compliance requirements, and preparing high-quality Board papers.
