Asset Management Role

The primary purpose of this role is to align the organisation with NSW Health's Asset Management Framework.

  • This involves overseeing asset management services, implementing and reviewing Asset Management Plans, ensuring effective budget management, and collaborating with the asset management team in developing and maintaining asset management systems.
  • The role will integrate state-wide projects and provide strategic guidance to meet FWLHD's asset management objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead the asset management service, providing expertise and leadership to ensure alignment with NSW Health's Asset Management Framework.
  • To oversee the development and implementation of Asset Management Plans (SAMP & AMP), ensuring effective budget management and collaboration with the asset management team.
  • To provide strategic guidance on integrating state-wide projects and meeting FWLHD's asset management objectives.

Requirements:

  • Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in a relevant Building, Engineering, or Trade discipline, or similar attained through extensive experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of successful experience in middle-upper level management, preferably in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Proficiency in ICT management systems related to asset management, including AFM Online.
  • Demonstrated understanding of risk management and asset condition management, including experience in strategic asset management planning, quality maintenance procedures, and lifecycle modelling.
  • Extensive experience in asset data management and analysis, with the ability to run, reconcile, and manipulate significant amounts of asset data.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in financial/budget management.
  • Willingness to travel for work purposes, including driving long distances.
