Cyber Security Leadership Opportunity

This leadership role will have you spearheading a robust defence system, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to safeguard the digital realm. You'll partner with a leading Cyber Security Vendor, ensuring UnitingCare remains at the forefront of the industry.

About the Role:

  • Develop an enterprise cyber security strategy and program of initiatives to ensure UCQ has the cybersecurity foundations required to confidently deliver on its business goals and objectives;
  • Provide regular reporting on the current status of information security and present key findings and recommendations to key stakeholders at the executive and board levels (as required);
  • Lead the information security function (including external vendors) across UnitingCare to ensure consistent and high-quality cyber security practices and information security management in support of the business goals.

You Will Have:

  • Proven experience at a Senior Level within Cyber Security with direct engagement at the C-Suite and board level;
  • Demonstrated broad knowledge and understanding of the major trends, strategic directions and legislative and governance frameworks related to information security;
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience leading a Cyber Security function within an enterprise-sized environment;
  • Outstanding interpersonal, presentation and consultation skills with the proven capacity to influence and motivate Executive and Senior Leaders and maintain effective relationships with multi-disciplinary staff and external suppliers;
  • Extensive management experience in a dynamic and complex change environment, including successfully building cohesive and engaged teams and leading them through change;

Desirable Certifications:

CISA, CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, ISO27001, CRISC, PCI-QSA, CEH, SANS
