As a Heavy Duty Mechanic in our Field Service team at Mt Thorley in New South Wales, you will be responsible for maintaining Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment, including diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance tasks. Your extensive experience and exceptional knowledge of engine, powertrain, electrical, and hydraulic systems will be valuable assets to our team.

The ideal candidate will possess an Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Trade Qualification, experience on CAT and Komatsu mining equipment, and excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Additionally, they should be able to work safely unsupervised, set priorities, and deliver value to our customers and the wider BTP Group.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a $85,000 - $110,000 base salary, a Ute and Fuel card supplied, and Field Service Allowances. You will also have the opportunity to earn more through Overtime Rates and enjoy benefits such as 11% Superannuation, access to our Employee Assistance Program, and Perks like novated leasing, health insurance discounts, and paid parental leave.
