Exciting Opportunity for a Heavy Duty Mechanic - Field Service Professional

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic - Field Service Professional to join our growing maintenance team based at Mt Thorley in New South Wales.

You will report to the Field Service Supervisor and bring your extensive experience in maintaining Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment, including diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on mobile fleets in the field and workshop areas.

Key Requirements:
  • Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Trade Qualification
  • Experience on CAT, Komatsu, mining equipment with exceptional knowledge in engine, powertrain, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Extensive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • An individual who can demonstrate ability to work safely unsupervised, set priorities, and deliver real value for customers and the wider BTP Group
  • Australian Permanent Work Rights
  • A valid Australian Drivers Licence, along with HRWLs such as forklift, rigging/dogging would be highly regarded
  • Ability to meet all site access requirements, including a Full Pre-Employment medical and National Police Clearance
