As a key member of our animation team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Animation and fellow Animators to create believable animation with convincing performances and motion. Your expertise will be utilized in completing digi-double, creature, character or rigid body animation, while adhering to strict deadlines and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Main Objectives: Deliver high-quality animation work within the framework of the DNEG pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Leads and Supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks and resolve any potential issues.
  • Mentor junior artists to develop their skills and knowledge.
Prior Requirements
  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in CG animation for high-end live action VFX feature films is necessary.
  • Proven expertise in Maya and problem-solving skills in 3-dimensional space are required.
  • The ability to support team members and provide guidance as needed is essential.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with realistic facial animation is preferred.
  • Proficiency in tool development using Python or MEL is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of shooting Mocap material using Moven Mocap suit is an asset.
