About the Role:
  • We're seeking an animal attendant who can excel in a part-time or casual capacity for immediate hire.
  • Must be available on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
  • Our shift times operate between 6:30am - 6:30pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am - 3:00pm on Saturday.
Key Qualifications:
  • Certificate II in Animal Care or Equivalent is a must.
  • At least one year of experience as an animal attendant or doggy day care attendant is required.
  • Upholding fear-free and force-free values in your work is essential.
  • You should have genuine care and confidence when handling dogs.
  • Empathy and passion for working in the industry are crucial.
  • Ability to work standing for most of the day.
  • Strong customer service skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Good hygiene and workplace health and safety practices are a must.
  • Willingsness to attend a paid work trial shift.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
Preferred But Not Essential:
  • Pet First Aid Certificate would be beneficial.
  • Fear Free Force Free Certification is desirable.
  • Dog Wash Experience is a plus.
